Salary Range : $79,764 - $85,074 + Attractive Superannuation
We operate an 1800 call line for accounts related queries with staff rostered from 8.30am to 5pm each weekday.
We work collectively and in conjunction with other sections across DVA to ensure financial management and compliance requirements are met.
- Duties
- Manage prioritisation of own workloads, checking accuracy of information, work and advice, to effectively meet agreed targets and performance standards
- Use financial management and business systems to capture, research, analyse and reconcile data.
- Work collaboratively and contribute to team goals and objectives, establish rapport and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Actively participate in business improvement and change management with a customer / client focus.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks within your area of expertise as required.
- Eligibility
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to DVA offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance. The screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to18 months.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
