Ibis Perth is seeking a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic and recently refurbished venue in the heart of the Perth CBD. Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will be responsible for running your own section maintaining high standards of quality and consistency and supporting the team across all areas of the kitchen as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Head Chef with daily operations including prep and service
- Supervise and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- Take ownership of your section ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Uphold food presentation and portion standards across all outlets
- Monitor stock levels minimise waste and maintain accurate stock rotation
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained to the highest WHS and hygiene standards
Qualifications :
Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environmentRelevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)Strong technical cooking skills across a variety of techniques and cuisinesLeadership capabilities with experience guiding junior chefs during serviceExcellent communication and organisational skillsSound understanding of food safety hygiene and HACCP standardsAdditional Information :
