The Counter UAS Program Manager will undertake a range of program management tasks in support of the identification of C-UAS requirements for protection of land forces and integration with the Joint Force. They support the Commonwealth in the conduct of program management, Joint Force Integrator (JFI) and Capability Manager activities.
- Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Research and analyse current UAS threats and current and emerging C-UAS technology to enable development of the ADF C-UAS Roadmap;
- Development of governance documents that support a coordinated ADF approach to C-UAS enabling the provision of protection to ADF personnel, platforms, facilities and equipment.
- Engage with existing ADF Projects enabling development, design and implementation of ADF C-UAS framework under the layered Air and Missile Defence construct.
- Manage international partner engagements and subsequent partnered C-UAS research and development activities
- Manage ADF C-UAS capability tracker supporting accurate guidance to Australian Government, individual services and supporting engagements with industry and international partners.
- Manage engagement with Industry supporting ADF stakeholder awareness of current and emerging C-UAS technology enabling future acquisition lines.
- Establish and oversee the ADF C-UAS Working Group conducted biannually.
- Manage ADF C-UAS JFI support to other Defence agencies
- Support engagement and integration of ADF requirements under the National Drone Detection Network.
- Manage Army's C-UAS Defence Innovation Hub proposals.

- Tertiary Qualifications with 8+ years' experience.
- Australian citizen with an existing Australian Government security clearance.
- Desirable criteria
- Capability and Technology Management College (CTMC) Graduate
- Recognised program management professional qualification.
- Knowledge and experience with Uncrewed Aerial Systems.
- Knowledge and experience with Defence, or Defence Industry.
- Knowledge and experience with Defence Capability Life Cycle.
