ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Preservation Material Officer is to typically work as part of a small team performing well defined & Instructed tasks where there is a specific objective and outcome. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality preservation of materials & preserved materials supplied from the warehouses are fit for purpose at any time.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute a day-to-day maintenance activity, as assigned from end-to-end basis to enable high equipment reliability and plant availability. Update maintenance records, and prepare relevant reports
• Accountable to perform assigned critical activities as per process safety requirements
• Drive high standard of personal accountability and performance to deliver the site and department goals and target
• Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate verbally and / or in writing to operators, employees, supervisors and others regarding the identification of problems with productivity
• Perform required production quality control check and analysis
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting of potential issues
• Maintain and communicate requirements for tools, consumables and equipment, and maintain good housekeeping practices
• Contribute to keeping process materials records through the proactive reporting procedure in the day to day operation
• Commitment to and Promotion of the growth of Safe work cultures within the team and wider business
• Communication of practical knowledge of industrial safety standards
