Speech Pathologists - North of the River

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive speech language and communication assessments for clients with a range of disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder intellectual disabilities and developmental delays.
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies utilizing a variety of techniques and approaches to support clients in achieving their communication goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Occupational Therapists Physiotherapists and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
• Provide training and support to families caregivers and educational staff empowering them to reinforce therapy strategies in daily routines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records progress notes and reports.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and advancements in the field of Speech Pathology.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities preferably in a therapy setting.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to client-centered care and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
