Job description
  • Key Responsibilities
  • To work with the Maintenance personnel in arranging servicing, adjusting and carrying out repairs and maintenance to plant, machinery and other equipment.
  • Create routine maintenance schedules, shutdown plans, track and monitor maintenance KPIs.
  • Manage service providers and equipment on site as required.
  • Ensure materials and tools are adequately stored and all tools and equipment are maintained in mechanically sound and clean conditions.
  • Raising of PO's for the maintenance department.
  • Initiate and manage capital projects from conception to completion.
  • Work in conjunction with the Engineering manager to ensure all EH&S requirements and compliance standards for engineering are met
  • Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical engineering background, with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience with process and manufacturing experience
  • Experience with working in hazardous environments and a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Build and maintain strong working relationship with staff and contractors
