The successful Actuaries will work within a professional stream supporting performance monitoring, actuarial modelling, and analytical projects. These roles are based in NSW or VIC and offer flexible hybrid work arrangements (minimum 3 days onsite).
The successful Actuaries will be responsible for, but not limited to :
- Extracting, cleansing, and preparing data from multiple sources, particularly the data warehouse.
- Using Microsoft Office and SAS to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting.
- Supporting performance monitoring through regular updates and replication of outputs.
- Applying statistical and mathematical modelling techniques to deliver analytical insights and cost-benefit analyses.
- Undertaking ad hoc modelling and reporting activities as required.
The successful Actuaries will have experience in the following :
- 0–2 years’ experience in the actuarial, data analytics, or data science industry.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail and knowledge of statistical techniques.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to exercise judgement and make sound decisions.
