• About the roles

We currently have vacancies for a number of Mechanical Fitters / Machinists to join our fast-growing team specialising in the following areas :

• Pumps & Gearboxes, repairing and rebuilding an extensive range of pumps and gearboxes for our diverse client base
• Machining, involved in the manufacture, repair, and rebuild of an extensive range of mechanical components using manual lathes, mills, and gear cutting machines.
• Hydraulics, where you will be involved in the repair and rebuild of an extensive range of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Based at our Wingfield workshop, the roles will include workshop, site, and occasional travel outside of the Adelaide metro area. You will be provided with all the required tools and support from our experienced team.

• Required Qualities

Qualified Mechanical Fitter

Recent experience in a heavy industrial environment in the areas referred to above.

Ability to interpret technical drawings & schematics, and complete detailed inspection & QA reports

Ability to travel outside metropolitan area (occasionally)

Energetic 'Can do' personality

Work well in a team environment and be able to follow direction

Strong attention to detail, customer service and safety

• Desirable Qualities

Current Dogging, Rigging, Forklift and confined space tickets

Gear Cutting experience

Electrical licence

Manual drivers licence

Current or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
