Disability Support Worker

Urgently required for an immediate start.

We are looking for a female and male Disability Support Worker to join our Brisbane Team. In this unique role, you will provide a variety of drop-in support and personal care support to individuals with physical disabilities in the Brisbane Community.(Redlandbay qld)

The successful applicant must be available to work day, late, and night shifts, including active overnight shifts.

Your main responsibilities will be to help our customers maintain a level of independence, assisting with day-to-day activities that enhance their comfort and lifestyle. A typical shift will involve : Driving (vehicle provided for drop-in shifts), assistance with personal care, transferring to bed / hoisting, dressing, medication assistance, re-positioning, assistance to eat / drink, assistance to participate in community activities and many other small tasks.

Criteria

1.Current driver's license

2.NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or yellow card)

3.Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent

4. Experience in Disability Support Work( highly desirable)
