The role

A global engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Checker for a major project in the mining and resources sector . This short-term contract role offers the possibility of extension and the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project for a leading mining client.

This position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in materials handling systems, requiring a detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and validate mechanical drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Ensure all designs meet quality, accuracy, and constructability standards
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Contribute to safe and high-quality project delivery through rigorous technical reviews
