The DepartmentJoin the Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre, a modern facility managing over 65,000 patients annually. It features 80 treatment bays, including a 4-bed Behaviours of Concern secure unit. We treat serious illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely, high-quality care with prompt assessments.
The Alfred Hospital is a major adult tertiary referral hospital and one of Australasia's busiest Trauma centres. It hosts statewide services such as the Victorian Adult Burns Unit, Heart and Lung Transplant, and more.
The RoleAs an experienced clinical nurse, you will lead excellent inpatient care, establishing strong relationships with patients to achieve optimal outcomes. You will demonstrate core nursing values—patient-centred care, trust, and respect—and be accountable for developing and evaluating patient care plans in partnership with patients, carers, and the healthcare team. You will be supported by other nursing staff.
