  • Project Administrator – Refit & Dockings

    Responsible for supporting Project Managers undertaking refits and dockings (both planned and unplanned) of the company’s owned and chartered vessels.  In providing this support, the Project Administrator – Refit & Dockings will assist with refit and docking planning tasks, development of refit and docking packages and contracts, management of Cost Reports, project status reporting and other project documentation requirements.

    What you will be doing :

    • Liaise with Contractors as directed by Project Managers
    • Liaise with Vessel Superintendents, other managers and administrators performing interrelated activities to ensure a good communication flow and support to refits & dockings.
    • Process incoming / outgoing daily correspondence.
    • Assist the National Manager - Engineering as requested.
    • Provide exceptional customer service levels at all times.
    • Develop and maintain a sound and effective working relationship with all stakeholders
    • What skills are required :

    • Relevant qualifications and experience in project management, project or technical administration
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project (or similar), data organisation and manipulation (desirable)
    • Experience working in technical services, engineering or information management related industries (desirable)
    • Current driver’s licence
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
    • Key attributes required :

    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
    • Organisational abilities and technical research skills
    • Initiative and self-motivation, results focused
