About the Role

RUC Mining currently have an opportunity for a Qualified Mechanical Trade Fitters to join our Appin NSW Shaft Project.

5 : 2 or 14 : 14 roster (days shift only)

• Complete machinery servicing and repair breakdowns.
• Tasks include but not limited to assembling, disassembling, modifications, and maintenance of transmissions, brakes, winders, sheaves, ropes, pneumatic rock drills and feed rails, parts ordering, and stock control.
• Repair hydraulic systems / pipes / hoses, low voltage electrical faults, bearing and sheave, pneumatic rock drills and feed rails, replace broken bolts.
• Servicing and maintenance of filters, changes oil.
• Attend to breakdowns of machinery.
• Complete all relevant safe check requirements
• Component change out of hydraulics.
• Testing and fault finding of light and heavy machines.
• Completion of service logs and daily / weekly run sheets.
• Operation of Integrated Tool carrier (I.T.)
• Tyre Changes
