Boilermaker

Our client is a leader in residential structural and architectural steel work and they prides themselves on looking after their workers & creating a quality work environment.

They are currently working on several large projects that require both on site installation and factory fabrication work. The scope includes architectural including stairs, balustrades, shrouds, windows and doors and also the heavy structural work required.

Due to continued growth and some great new projects, two opportunities have arisen for experienced boilermakers and / or steel fabricators with extensive factory and on site experience to become part of there team.

To be successful in this role, the following skills and requirements will include but are not limited to :

• Trade qualified
• Strong TIG / MIG / STICK welding skills -
• essential
• Welding tickets -
• advantageous
• Fabrication of architectural and structural steel
• Reading & Interpreting CAD shop drawings
• Stainless and aluminium knowledge -
• an advantage
• Team player with the ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel
• Can-do attitude and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
• Ability to maintain a clean work area & good organisation skills
• Ability to pass a weld test
• OH&S knowledge is a priority

Rate : $45 to $55 PH + super + Overtime

Hours : 6.30am - 3 : 00pm Monday to Friday
