Job descriptionReporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor Performing pre-start inspections and routine maintenance Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on a variety of diesel-powered mining equipment Replacing or refurbishing components as part of scheduled maintenance Maintaining a safe and efficient worksite while identifying opportunities for improvement Ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety standards You must be safety focused! while we are looking out for your safety, you need to help look out for the safety of those around you. Ability to work autonomously Ability to fault find and inspect equipment. Reliable transport and C class licence Experience and knowledge working with underground mining development equipment (highly desirable)

We are looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Fitters, to join our team.
With a pipeline of projects to keep you busy, we are seeking experienced individuals to help boost our workforce and join us in this growth phase.
Alfabs Mining is based in Kurri Kurri, 15 minutes straight through from Cameron Park or 30 minutes to Raymond Terrace, Singleton or Warners Bay. Not only can you significantly reduce your drive time, but we are also big enough to make sure you work on interesting projects!
