The Role : We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our team in the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in community care or nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality care to veterans and their families.

Permanent Part-Time Hours Available – Flexible and Varied Shifts (Including Split Shifts) We offer a range of permanent part-time hours across a rotating roster. Shifts may include :

Morning : 7 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM / 7 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 AMEvening : 4 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 PM / 2 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PMOvernight : 9 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AMSplit Shifts may also be required as part of your roster. Flexibility across these times is highly valued, and shift patterns will vary to meet client and operational needs.

Pay : $30-37 per hour

Key responsibilities include : Providing personal care and assistance to clients in their homes with activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, and grooming.Assisting with medication prompting.Providing emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care provided.Adhering to infection control and occupational health and safety policies and procedures.Monitoring clients for health, wellbeing, and behavioral changes, and reporting appropriately to our Clinical Team.Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.To be successful in this role, you will have : A current First Aid and CPR certificate, Manual handling certificate, and Medication assistance competency or willingness to obtain these.A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.Experience in healthcare / support industry preferred.A compassionate, kind, and caring approach to working with clients and families.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good problem-solving and time management skills.A current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
