Casual Child Care Educator - Oshc

Our Balgowlah OSHC provides before and after school care on the grounds of St Cecilias's Catholic Primary School. We are looking for casuals who can assist in providing quality care during our OSHC hours with the ability to pick up additional OSHC work at other CatholicCare OSHC sites on the Northern Beaches that would also include Vacation Care.

Flexibility and reliability to turn up to a shift with short notice will be key to being successful in this role.

• Duties
• To be successful as a Casual Childcare Educator for an OSHC program you will have;
• An ability to build relationships with children, their families and school staff.
• A commitment to ensuring all policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks are met.
• An understanding about safeguarding children and provision of a safe work environment.
• Attend training as required.
• Requirements
• Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the team and with children aged 5-12
• Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check
• Experience in a related service sector or qualifications in the Children's services sector would be highly regarded.
