The QARS team have regulatory responsibility, through the National Quality Framework and our state-based early childhood legislation, to raise quality and drive continuous improvement and consistency in education and care services across NSW schools.
As a manager regulatory reform, you will lead and undertake research, analysis, design and development of complex policy and reform initiatives across the Department.
Your role will involve :
- Develop and implement strategies for strategic monitoring and evaluation of policies and projects.
- Undertake strategic data analysis to support the development of policy, funding models and programs.
- Oversee data and evidence gathering and analysis to support policy development, project planning and decision making
- Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and / or experience.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience in project management, as a project officer coordinator / administrator
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG
