Printing Shop Manager Inc Prepress (Basic) + Admin

Print industry (or closely related) experience highly desirable.

Tertiary education preferred. Tech savvy growth mindset vital!

• The key aspects of this new role include;

a) managing startup printshop - Inner West Print, inc; customer service & (basic) prepress (Adobe CS inc basic PS) & office admin (inc basic Xero).

b) co-ordinating Sydney Posters (small) Instore (music & arts, posters & flyers) distribution team.

d) creating & sending client photo reports - we display / distribute many thousands of pole & Instore posters each week.

In this vital 'hands on' role you'll be needed to create & oversee workflows.

Experienced with Monday, Trello, Excel, Kanban etc? Yes please!!

An important focus of this role is 'recentralising' core workflows to HP - at present we have three inefficent (covid hangover) wfh silos.

You'll work closely with the owner / founder, Production, Sales, Accounts & Distributors.

You'll oversee payroll + create & send client photo reports for most jobs - training provided.

You'll quote, confirm, oversee (or job out) print production for both Inner West Print (new) & Sydney Posters (old) - training provided.

You'll supervise a small team of Instore Arts & Entertainment poster distributors & help drive improved efficency and accountability.

And all going well I hope oversee the game-changing next phase of our OoH growth business - and we'll both retire well!

Posters may seem old skool to some but they (still!) offer very credible vivid open unfiltered signposts of 'whats on'. Out of Home Advertising grows year on year.

Preferably evolving over 3-6 months to fulltime permanent, at present the role falls within the scope of casual - NSW Clerical Award.
