Mechanical Fitter

Diplomatik is seeking skilled Marine Fitters to join one of our leading Ship Building clients in their workshop in Henderson. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent Mechanical skills to repair and maintain plants and equipment. The successful applicant will be required to utilize a range of trade skills.

• Duties
• Carry out repairs and diagnostics works on Diesel engines
• Ability to process reports and paperwork
• Completion of customer work to high standards and within established timeframes
• Provide product technical support internally and externally
• Requirements
• A minimum mechanical trade qualification and a current driver's license
• Expertise in a relevant and related industry to ensure you meet our customer's technical and commercial needs
• Ability to troubleshoot Mechanical faults
• Be comfortable using a computer including systems for reporting requirements
• Previous Marine background required
