2025 Postgraduate Program - Midwifery

Successful applicants for our Maternity 2024 Post-Graduate Program will be joining our amazing team of midwives, extending their professional skills and knowledge within the specialized field of midwifery. You will be supported, guided, and coached throughout the program by designated Clinical Educators and senior clinicians.

Commencing February 2025, you will be working on a rotating roster whilst completing a Graduate Diploma in collaboration with La Trobe University. This is a 0.8 EFT position, with 0.5 EFT as a paid model, and 0.3 EFT as a supernumerary student model (unpaid).

• Targeted funding to support course costs will be available for successful scholarship applicants.

• You will have
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency; OR New Zealand Citizenship
• You will have a minimum of one year of acute clinical Nursing experience following your graduate year

• Work across Postnatal, Birth Suite, Special Care Nursery, and the Antenatal Doctors' Rooms
• 34 Postnatal Beds, 9 Birth Suite rooms, and a level 4 Special Care Nursery with 10 monitored beds, and 4 hospital in the hotel beds.
