National Nutrition Foundation Richmond / WFH Full-time Contract until June 2026

Join our mission to create healthier food environments across Australia. Were seeking a Project Officer to support the Healthy Eating Advisory Service (HEAS) a statewide program supported by the Victorian Government.

The Role

Youll provide essential project support to our HEAS team managing nutrition data and maintaining our FoodChecker assessment tool. This diverse role involves supporting early childhood services schools hospitals and sports facilities to implement healthier food choices.

Salary : $70000-$75000

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support : Review and develop HEAS resources presentations and nutrition guidelines including Healthy Choices framework.
  • Advisory Service : Manage telephone / email support for organisations seeking nutrition guidance.
  • FoodChecker Management : Maintain food / drink databases classify products according to government guidelines and provide user support.
  • Stakeholder Relations : Build positive relationships with health professionals and key contacts across supported sectors.
  • eLearning Support : Assist with platform administration and development projects.

What Youll Need

Essential :

  • Tertiary qualifications in nutrition dietetics or health promotion.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Team collaboration and independent working capabilities.

    • Desirable :

  • Knowledge of Victorian nutrition policies and guidelines.
  • Experience in public health food databases or supporting healthier food environments
