The Operations Manager, Production Services will provide leadership to the Manufacturing and Aussie Biscuits teams, ensuring the business operates to achieve agreed operational revenue and efficiencies as well as providing a rewarding and safe work environment, thus supporting our purpose of enhancing the lives of people with a disability and maintaining future sustainable growth.

- Ensured quality and timely services by monitoring customer products and customer service Businesses Services
- Provided and allocated appropriate coaching and resourcing of people and assets for Business Service team and specifications.
- Ensured team members are deployed with correct tools and equipment, overseeing scheduling of production and Service Delivery teams for customer specifications
- Provides technical expertise to ensure employees were led and mentored effectively; providing coaching and direction to achieve schedules and fulfil client specifications
- Facilitated positive relationships with external customers, contractors, and suppliers
- Used appropriate reporting systems to ensure incidents, complaints and feedback are addressed in a timely manner, and hazards and risks are addressed to create a safe and compliant work environment
- Promoted an inclusive values-driven work culture that delivers excellent customer service and high performance by facilitating cooperation and collaboration
- Modelled effective leadership and communication that establishes Aruma's Businesses Services as an Employer of Choice for people with disabilities, ensuring teams support people with disabilities flexibly and sensitively.
- Led new contract mobilisation to ensure operations were ready for go live.
- Most importantly, you created an environment where people looked forward to coming to work
- Small Travel will be required every 1-2 months to our Forbes and Alstonville sites
- Provides coaching, support and feedback to Manufacturing, Team Leaders, and broader team
- Implements KPIs and manages team performance, ensuring timely completion of induction and onboarding / probation reviews, performance appraisals and formal performance management for all team members
- Participates in all professional meetings and training opportunities, developing, and sharing own expertise to encourage achievement of industry best practice
- Models Aruma's values internally and externally, creating a fun and positive workplace culture that reflect our values and contributes to team results and effectiveness

- Skills and Experience
- Essential Criteria
- A Diploma in a relevant trade and / or certificate
- A Cert IV in Leadership / Management and / or equivalent knowledge and experience, with a demonstrated ability to supervise and support teams
- Sound Microsoft Office skills and ability to effectively utilise databases for reporting and coordination
- Experience and / or qualifications in project management
- A current Australian driver's license, White card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Travel across all Facility Services sites is required
- A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (doses 1 & 2).

- Experience working with people with disabilities, particularly in a service provision context.
