DOBCEL is currently searching for a Speech Pathologist to deliver high-quality speech pathology services aimed at improving students' communication skills and enhancing their access to learning.

About the Role : Part-time : 20 hours per weekFixed-term : Parental leave replacementFlexible : Hybrid working arrangements and gifted leave above four weeks entitlementCore Responsibilities : Assess, interpret, and analyze referred students' data and communication needs to support educational programming. This may include administration of standardized assessments, classroom observations, and checklists. Assessments can be conducted in person or via tele-practice. Areas of assessment include Speech, Language, Pragmatics, Phonology, Voice, and Fluency skills.Liaise with parents, school staff, and community partners to support the development of a Personalised Learning Plan for students, outlining targeted learning goals focused on inclusive access to the curriculum and communication skill development.Provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children and young people.Skills and Experience : Tertiary qualification in Speech PathologyConfirmed requirements for full membership of Speech Pathology AustraliaDemonstrated speech pathology experienceApply now : Speech Pathologist - Catholic Education Ballarat - Ballarat Office, VIC, Australia
