Welder / Fabricator

TNE Civil Pty Ltd specialising in large-scale civil projects as well as commercial high rise we can offer a comprehensive service that includes all formwork, steel fixing reinforcing and concrete requirements as well as complete project management.

Due to the growth of our business, we are currently looking for a full-time Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate is trade qualified and has at least 3 years work experience as a Metal Fabricator. Candidates need to demonstrate a high level of workmanship.

As a Metal Fabricator your everyday responsibilities will include :

• Understanding and interpreting technical drawings.
• Choosing and preparing metal stock and operating metal press & guillotine machinery to cut, shape and bend metal.
• TIG & MIG welding using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium to join metal sections.
• Grinding and cleaning up of welds to finish products.
• Commitment to quality, attention to detail and workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
