As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Support team, guiding customers in building and operating their applications on the AWS platform.
Key responsibilitiesDefine support strategies by working closely with customers, providing expert advice on AWS services, assisting with project launches, and operational issues.Engage at the account level, offering recommendations and proactive advice throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle.Build solutions, deliver technical guidance, and advocate for customers.Ensure the operational health of AWS environments while optimizing costs and reducing complexity.Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business and technical needs.Lead technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using technical expertise and customer obsession.Consult with partners ranging from developers to C-suite executives.Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.Proactively identify opportunities for customers to maximize value from AWS.Conduct detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning.Provide post-sales, consultative expertise as part of the wider Enterprise Support team.Assist customers in migrating workloads to the cloud and uplift their capabilities through workshops and sessions.Opportunity for professional growth with AWS certifications and mentorship.A day in the lifeEngage with customers as a trusted technical consultant, crafting strategies to enhance their AWS adoption and usage.
