Warehouse Team Leader

This iconic Australian owned and operated food manufacturer supplies products into the food service, grocery and export markets. They are seeking a Warehouse team Leader to join their growing team.

• The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a small team across all warehouse operations including pick pack and despatch.

Key responsibilities include (not limited to) :

• Oversee warehousing activities and ensure work is performed safely and procedures are followed
• Order pick / pack and dispatch
• including forklift operation
• Handle daily cross docking operations ensuring deadlines are met
• Stock control (including frozen)
• Working closely with the Production Manager, Production Planner and Purchasing team
• Skills & Experience
• A proven track record of success in a similar position - FMCG experience is highly regarded
• Understand the practice and working conditions of a HACCP controlled environment
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Experience in leading a team
• Strong proficiency with MS Suite and ERP systems
• Current NSW forklift license
• Ability and willingness to perform work in a freezer environment
