Key elements of the role include :
- Performing characterisation measurements on specialist nano materials, wafers and devices using cutting-edge metrology systems.
- Performing periodic checks on characterisation equipment, data analysis and maintaining results database.
- Support process and characterisation engineers to ensure smooth operation within the cleanroom in accordance with rules and safety guidelines.
- Supporting manufacturing efforts by maintaining QC standards on incoming and outgoing materials from the characterisation area
Skills, experience and personal attributes :
- Qualification – Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Materials or other related fields.
- Hands-on experience in handling sensitive products and equipment.
- Willingness to learn a new set of equipment and operations.
- Attention to details on procedures and instructions with the ability to pick-up on issues during operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems systematically and independently.
- Strong collaborative, communication and team engagement orientated skills.
- Other skills and experience that would be of interest :
- Cleanroom / lab experiences.
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Experience in Process development and continuous improvement.
- Computer literate with experience in core Microsoft office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI reporting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all mediums.
- Problem-solving orientation and ability to think critically under pressure.
