The Opportunity
At The Kids Research Institute Australia, our vision is simple : happy, healthy kids. Our highly skilled and professional Communications and Marketing team helps us communicate the impact of our world-class research and is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the Institute, including media, marketing & branding, social media & websites, the intranet, and events.
We now have an opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our team of talented professionals to drive the public profile of The Kids through the development of high-quality, engaging content via storytelling that aligns with the strategic goals of the Institute.
Working closely with the Media & Content Manager, this role will also be responsible for developing regular and engaging written content for various communication channels. You will support the wider team by providing communication advice and support in planning and implementing special projects while maintaining high stakeholder engagement.

This full-time role will be conveniently based at Perth Children’s Hospital and will be offered on an ongoing basis.
About You
The successful applicant will have three to five years of demonstrated experience in communications, public relations, or similar, and a passion and talent for creating compelling content with a genuine interest in science and health research and how it impacts children and families.
