Business Manager - Energy WA, NT & SA - HaysYour new company Our client is a boutique professional services firm specialising in engineering and project management within the civil, structural, and maritime sectors. This firm has a diverse range of clients, including local and state governments, industry and mining sectors, private enterprises and spans various regions across Australia.

Your new role Assist in the development of project plans in line with company procedures, including the preparation of project briefs, budgets, and monitoring tools.Support the delivery of projects in compliance with Australian Standards and relevant State and Local Government regulations.Undertake design engineering tasks across a variety of infrastructure projects in civil, structural, and / or maritime disciplines.Scope and coordinate technical investigations (e.g., environmental, geotechnical, planning, dive surveys, engineering surveys), including managing subcontractor quotes, approvals, and reporting.Conduct site inspections during various project phases—investigation, design, construction, contract administration, and condition assessments—while ensuring safety compliance.Assist Project Managers with monthly client reporting, including tracking project milestones and budget performance.Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outputs such as design documentation, drawings, specifications, reports, technical memorandums, and procurement packages.Adhere to and implement company policies and procedures in all aspects of your work.What you'll need to succeed Degree-qualified in Civil, Structural, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent).Relevant experience in engineering design or project management.Strong understanding of engineering principles and project lifecycle.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Familiarity with relevant software tools and industry standards.What you'll get in return Diverse range of projects with exposure across Civil, Structural and Maritime EngineeringOpportunities for growth and leadershipStability and work / life balanceStrong regional and sector reputationWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Dillan Morris now.
