An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Learning & Development Trainer to support our team in achieving their full potential. If you love helping others while developing your own career then this is the role for you!
The key objective of this role is to increase the number of skilled and experienced people available to provide care to Australia's aging population through ongoing training
This position will work across Arcare residences in Brisbane : Seven Hills, Parkinson, Eight Mile Plains, Springwood, Logan Reserve, Slacks Creek, Thornlands
- Main Responsibilities
- Performing the delivery and assessment of training, developing our workforce
- Providing support to the orientation of new employees
- Providing support and mentoring to staff working within our residences
- Coordination of the residences annual education calendar
- Designing / developing evidence-based training
- Skills and Experience
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment preferred
- Experience in conducting training needs analyses
- Experience in using an online Learning Management System
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work successfully with a range of stakeholders
- Previous experience in team leadership and training of staff
- Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation and ACFI requirements
- Results orientated outlook, along with the ability to operate autonomously
- Good understanding of continuous improvement, OH&S and risk management
- Current Victorian driver's licence and own car
