About the role :

Roy Hill is seeking a proactive and experienced Mobile Maintenance Truck Supervisor to join our dynamic Hauling & Ancillary team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in driving the reliability, performance, and safety of our fleet of electric drive haul trucks. Working closely with our Superintendent and a dedicated team of tradespeople, you’ll lead maintenance activities that keep our operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Duties :

Lead daily maintenance operations for our electric drive haul truck fleet in line with OEM and Roy Hill standards.

Mentor and develop a skilled team of tradespeople and contractors, building a high-performing and collaborative environment.

Drive continuous improvement—identify equipment issues early and implement smart solutions to boost reliability and availability.

Champion safety through regular inspections, toolbox talks, and strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.

Collaborate across teams, from planning and operations to other maintenance departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Utilise CMMS tools (SAP, Pronto or similar) to manage work orders, schedules, and performance reporting.

Skills and Experience :

Proven leadership experience in mobile maintenance within mining or heavy industry.

Technical expertise in electric drive haul trucks (Hitachi, Komatsu, or similar).

A passion for safety, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset.

Proficiency in maintenance systems and a knack for problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Essential : Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Auto Electrician, etc.) and a current Australian driver’s licence.

Desirable : Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.

Highly Regarded : Direct experience with electric drive haul trucks.
