Looking for a really interesting tech role working on state of the art Satellite Technology? Love the lifestyle of a 2 week on, 2 weeks off even time roster?

Our client is a well known Satellite Communication company, which operates a Low Earth Orbit satellite network providing Global Coverage for the past 20 years. They have several ground stations in Australia and require an additional team member for their Meekatharra Groundstation.

You will need to be a qualified Electronic / Communication Engineer or RF Technician, and familiar with RF Satcom systems, great at troubleshooting RF assemblies and gateway computer systems, plus have experience with various test equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers, and DVM's. You will also need to maintain other facility components such as HVAC, Fire Suppression and Power Systems.

Computer networking skills will be highly regarded as well as the ability to work unsupervised. The uptime of the facility is critical, and you will need to troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Occasionally some heavy lifting of equipment will be required.
