MIDDLE OFFICE AT IMC

  • Supporting, monitoring and troubleshooting of Python processes
  • Implement solutions by leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, Qlikview to create process efficiencies
  • Identifying, investigating and reconciling position and cash exceptions by working directly with trading desks and clearing firms
  • Responsibility for daily P&L reconciliation
  • Reconciling trading fees with exchanges and clearing broker
  • Providing operational support to trading desks

  • WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or Accounting is preferred
  • A background in financial services is beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills (VBA Macro experience strongly preferred)
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Python or similar programming languages (e.g. C++ or Java)
  • Experience with trade settlement with clear firms is preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to combine strong tactical and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Highly motivated individual wo will collaborate with others to identify gaps and inefficiencies in process in order to drive improvements
