Azooa—one of Australia's fastest-growing digital innovators—is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Centre Consultant to join us for a high-impact, short-term engagement supporting a critical Federal Government client.

About the Engagement

This is a short-term, high-value engagement (approx. 2 weeks) focused on the Requirements & Design Phase for a government data centre initiative. You'll be working on a well-scoped project that requires precision, leadership, and technical insight.

You will be embedded with a dedicated team and collaborating closely with a Data Centre Architect and government stakeholders to assess current environments, design improvements, and plan implementation activities.

You'll lead and contribute to the following work packages :

Conduct a comprehensive information gathering exercise (16 hours) Requirements and Design Workshop

Prepare workshop agendas and materials (6 hours total – with support from Data Centre Architect) Facilitate sessions with client stakeholders (4 hours) Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)

Assist with creation and review of the RTM (supporting role) Develop connectivity and rack diagrams (6 hours in collaboration with the architect) Detailed Design (Optional / Stretch)

Provide input to Detailed Design phase, if time permits (TBC) Develop detailed implementation plan and risk assessment (48 hours) This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, works independently, and brings a structured approach to data centre design and planning.
