Join to apply for the Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A or B) – Defence Trailblazer x2 role at UNSW Develop and enhance Natural Language Processing systems to support AI-driven products and services. Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches, to optimise performance. Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks. Level A or B appointment - $88,290 - $145,730 (min. 110,059 with PhD) + 17% superannuation. Full-time, fixed-term contracts to May 2027. This position is based in Australia.

Reporting to Dr. Aditya Joshi, the Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to conduct independent and team research, developing their expertise in the field. Funding is provided by the ASIC Defence Trailblazer Grant.
