  • We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual for a casual position (38 hours per week) to provide ongoing administrative and client support within our Service. Join our team in a small, friendly, and fast-paced office environment.

    • About the Position
    • As the Rostering / Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include :

    • Developing, maintaining, and communicating staff rosters.
    • Actively engaging with Participants and promptly responding to changes in service needs, while communicating such changes with support workers.
    • Addressing daily last-minute shift changes or cancellations, including assigning support staff for sudden sick leave or unavailability.
    • Demonstrating proficiency in computer skills, particularly with MS Office, and displaying confidence in using databases.
    • Exhibiting experience in reception and administration duties.
    • Showcasing excellent attention to detail, organizational prowess, and strong time management skills.
    • Displaying effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients, including older individuals, people with disabilities, families, volunteers, and the broader community.
    • Demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively in a team and to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
    • Possessing autonomy in work, coupled with organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
    • Reporting to the Service Manager and adhering to requirements such as providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination and undergoing a police check.
    • Receiving compensation and adhering to conditions consistent with the Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Award, at Level 1 or 2.
    • About You
    • To be eligible for this role, you should have :

    • A Certificate III or higher in the Community Services industry or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
    • Proficiency in administration, including meticulous attention to detail.
    • The ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
    • A valid driver's license and access to a personal motor vehicle.
    • An NDIS Worker Screening clearance or the ability to obtain one.
