Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this role willShape the future of online shopping in QueenslandBe part of the first CFC in the State, which provides a dedicated fulfilment offering at a larger scale.Support the Inventory Manager to ensure optimal CFC operational performance across Inventory Management activities across all departments.Support the Inventory Manager to lead, manage, and support the Inventory and Replenishment teams to ensure stock is available when required to support picking of Online Orders.This role will lead the Inventory team in the absence of the Inventory Manager.The inventory business operates between the hours of 9am and 7pm. Assistant Inventory Managers work across 5 days including one weekend day.What makes you right for WooliesXAs the Inventory ADM, your key responsibilities will includeSupport the Inventory Manager to roster Inventory teams to ensure all tasks are completed prior to the next pick session and resources are shared with Replenishment team as requiredSupport the Inventory Manager to coordinate and manage activities with relation to inventory, actioning of Product Withdrawals, planograms, sequencing, fixture and ticketing managementComplete all promotional planning for the Grocery and Convenience departments and review dailyEnsuring that stock on hand is maintained accurately and made available to support the efficient and accurate picking of Online ordersEnsure CFC tasks are completed in line with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to food safety and security standardsProvide team and operational feedback, ideas and concerns to the Inventory Manager to improve our offer to customersKey Skills & CompetenciesAbility to coach, motivate and inspire a large team to stretch their capabilities and unleash their potentialRemain composed under pressure to deliver results whilst maintaining leadership profileCommunicate information and ideas to the team in a clear and focused way that is understood by team members and achieves outcomesFinancial acumen and ability to analyse information, identify trends and prioritise issues, then make effective decisions and deploy resources as neededInnovative and not content with status quo, always looking for new ways to delight the customerUnderstand the perfect order scorecard segments, Voice of Customer, and other metrics to analyse the CFC and deliver resultsEssential knowledge and experienceInventory or Grocery department experienceExperience working to a budget to achieve business targets including CODB and throughputEffective written and verbal communication skillsComputer literateDesirable knowledge and experienceExperience with visual merchandising and stock controlExperience working in a highly regulated environmentExperience working in food online environmentExperience communicating across large teamsPrevious experience leading and developing a diverse teamExperience managing the performance, development and engagement of team membersGrow with the GroupAs an inclusive, team-first company, our people are at the core of everything we do.
