  • Assistant Inventory Manager | CFC
  • We are extremely excited to share with you an opportunity to be a part of the first Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Rochedale, Queensland and be part of the leadership team in one of our large scale dedicated online facilities. This CFC offers Home Delivery, Crowd and our first ever CFC Direct to Boot offer.

  • Shape the future of online shopping in Queensland
  • Be part of the first CFC in the State, which provides a dedicated fulfilment offering at a larger scale.
  • Support the Inventory Manager to ensure optimal CFC operational performance across Inventory Management activities across all departments.
  • Support the Inventory Manager to lead, manage, and support the Inventory and Replenishment teams to ensure stock is available when required to support picking of Online Orders.
  • This role will lead the Inventory team in the absence of the Inventory Manager.
  • The inventory business operates between the hours of 9am and 7pm. Assistant Inventory Managers work across 5 days including one weekend day.

  • As the Inventory ADM, your key responsibilities will include
  • Support the Inventory Manager to roster Inventory teams to ensure all tasks are completed prior to the next pick session and resources are shared with Replenishment team as required
  • Support the Inventory Manager to coordinate and manage activities with relation to inventory, actioning of Product Withdrawals, planograms, sequencing, fixture and ticketing management
  • Complete all promotional planning for the Grocery and Convenience departments and review daily
  • Ensuring that stock on hand is maintained accurately and made available to support the efficient and accurate picking of Online orders
  • Ensure CFC tasks are completed in line with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to food safety and security standards
  • Provide team and operational feedback, ideas and concerns to the Inventory Manager to improve our offer to customers

  • Understand the perfect order scorecard segments, Voice of Customer, and other metrics to analyse the CFC and deliver results
  • Essential knowledge and experience
  • Inventory or Grocery department experience
  • Experience working to a budget to achieve business targets including CODB and throughput
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Desirable knowledge and experience
  • Experience with visual merchandising and stock control
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience working in food online environment
  • Experience communicating across large teams
  • Previous experience leading and developing a diverse team
  • Experience managing the performance, development and engagement of team members
