What you will do
In the Principal Education Officer role, you will
lead teams of casual writers and assessors to support the development of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment products and services
lead teams of casual writers and assessors to quality assure school-devised assessments and school judgements and to develop and mark external assessments
work collaboratively with Principal Project Officers and Activity Managers to ensure alignment of products and services with whole of organisation directions, policies, and procedures
revise and redevelop curriculum products and resources including senior syllabuses and guidelines
provide expert advice to Learning Area Managers and Assistant Directors on issues related to the implementation of senior curriculum and assessment
manage and deliver business priorities within designated timelines and using allocated resources
liaise with government and non-government educational agencies on assigned projects
create and maintain professional relationships between the QCAA and key stakeholders
lead forums, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
prepare briefings, correspondence and reports
undertake other specific tasks as required to assist the QCAA in achieving its business outcomes.
