You will develop and maintain dynamic financial models, produce data-driven insights, and collaborate with both internal teams and external clients. Your work will inform critical decisions for advisory clients and potential portfolio companies.
Conduct detailed financial analyses to support internal and external decision making, including specific client requirements, and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for clients, internal business purposes, and investor updates. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance in all reporting outputs.
Build and maintain financial models to support client requirements and investment evaluations, including cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, portfolio performance, and valuation modeling.
Work closely with the Ecotone Partners' Team, founders, investors,and other stakeholders, providing clear financial insights that support their decision-making.
Continuously seek ways to enhance financial reporting processes and improve the usability of financial models, ensuring they remain robust and relevant.
Undertake projects such as researching new investment opportunities, performing equity valuation analysis and / or credit analysis, preparing investment papers, developing pricing models for new products, or analysing market trends to support Ecotone Partners' growth.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact through their work. You should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You should like the structure of financial modelling and analysis, and be open to working with incomplete data sets and forecast information that can change quickly.
Proficiency in building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel or similar tools. Ability to manipulate large datasets, perform scenario analyses, and develop dynamic reports.
Skilled at interpreting financial data, identifying key insights, and communicating them effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Experience with R, Python, and databases is not essential but definitely a plus.
Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. You need to understand the importance of precision in financial modeling and reporting.
Able to convey complex financial concepts succinctly and clearly, both in written and verbal forms.
