This position leads a dedicated Human Resources team whose work is critical in ensuring a trusted and capable Commission to shape, build and regulate the public sector.
The team provides high quality advice and services across the employee lifecycle, and makes sure workforce matters are strategically aligned to support the Commission deliver on its remit.
We're looking for a skilled people leader with a contemporary understanding of recruitment standards, workforce planning and development, and work health and safety. You'll lead the development of workforce and diversity plans as well as a comprehensive suite of human resources policies for compliance with relevant legislation including thePublic Sector Management Act 2006 and applicable Commissioner's Instructions.
You'll work across all areas of the Commission, building strong relationships and providing considered advice and support. You'll provide direction to the Human Resources team and drive high performance with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
