The RoleDue to recent growth, Exact Contracting are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Team, working on a variety of Caterpillar equipment.
Reporting to Senior Management, this site-based role will be responsible for taking lead of and driving safe and cost-effective management of maintenance activities and operations on-site.
Responsibilities will includeLeading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;Effective planning and managing of resources to ensure the completion of maintenance schedules are on time and within budget;Driving operational efficiencies for all maintenance related activities;Overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment for the project; andProviding effective leadership and supervision through 'on the ground' presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals.The successful applicant will haveCurrent drivers' licence;Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification_;_Completion of S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (essential);5+ years of experience in supervisory / management role;Demonstrated experience maintaining Caterpillar, Hitachi mobile equipment; Kenworth and Mack Trucks and a wide range of ancillary gear;Previous civil / mining industry experience.Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc.;Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;Confident communication with the ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors;Self-motivation with a positive attitude;Desire to work in remote locations; andA hands-on approach.Pre-EmploymentExact Contracting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
