Patrician Brothers' College, Blacktown is a vibrant and future focused Catholic school. The College is seeking a Library Technician to support the operation of the Resource Centre.
The position is primarily based in the Resource Centre of the College.
The Library Technician is accountable for :
Supervising students in non-teaching periodsSupervising groups of students other than in a classroom situation, including takingresponsibility for the library if no teacher librarian is present or playground supervision if an agreement has been reached
Receiving, issuing, distributing, stock-taking and safeguarding of teaching resources, goods, supplies, materials and equipment, other than dangerous goodsProviding technical assistance in the operation of a library, laboratory or technology centre.Typical Experience and Qualifications :
