As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration of WiseTech's firewalls, VPN's and network devices. You will also contribute to improving WTGs overall network security.

Role responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions, including next generation firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS systems and security monitoring tools. Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco) to safeguard the organization's network against unauthorized access and potential threats. Identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure and recommend necessary actions for improvement. Respond promptly to network security incidents, analyze root causes, and work to prevent future incidents through continuous monitoring and improvement. Adhere to network security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization. Collaborate with other IT Teams, development teams and other stakeholders to integrate security solutions into the network architecture and workflows. Use network security tools to monitor network traffic, detect potential vulnerabilities, and generate reports for security metrics and analysis. Create documentation on Standard Operating Procedures and Security best practices. Who you are : Curious about software-defined networking? Experienced with open-source technologies? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience hands on experience with Firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Deep understanding of security protocols (TCP / IP Stack), firewalls, VPNs and IDS / IPS and Network Security Principles Proficient in using security tools and platforms such as Wireshark and SIEM tools. Knowledge of Information Security Standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable Familiarity with Automation and Infrastructure as a code is required Software Defined Networking (SDN) experience Before you apply From time to time, WiseTech Global may use external service providers to assist us with assessing applications, including background checks, on our behalf.
