Job description

We are a modern Japanese Bar & Restaurant in the heart of Perth is looking for additions to Bar team member.

You will be the face of our business, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Your main responsibilities are to ensure a seamless and delightful experience for every guest.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering beverage recommendations.
  • Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, classic and signature cocktails, in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and ingredients.
  • Manage cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately and efficiently, handling payments, and providing change as needed.
  • Stay updated on current industry trends and contribute to the creation of new and innovative drink recipes.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to maintain a smooth and coordinated flow of service.
  • Uphold and enforce all applicable state and local alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven experience as a Bartender, with a minimum of 1 year in the similar role.
  • Have a minimum knowledge of draught beers (beer technicalities).
  • Effective communication and strong personality.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Valid RSA.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure / dynamic situations professionally and calmly.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
