- Responsibilities
- Manage and lead audit engagements, ensuring they are completed within budget and timeline while meeting the required standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for their audit-related queries and concerns.
- Provide technical guidance and support to audit team members, reviewing their work and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Identify and communicate audit risks and opportunities to clients, providing recommendations for improving their business processes and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present audit findings and reports to clients and management, providing recommendations for improving internal controls and financial reporting systems.
- Requirements
- Fully qualified with a relevant accounting or auditing qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements, including experience in auditing financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, or other accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
