Byron Shire Council is currently seeking a Legal Support Officer. This role is a great opportunity to provide administrative support to the Legal Services Team; and provide high level customer service to both internal and external customers.
About youCertificate IV in Business Administration or Associate Degree in paralegal Studies, or similar discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.Extensive experience as a legal secretary, paralegal, administrator or law clerk.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and legal privilege.We offerA permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week)Flexible working arrangementsSalary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,155.40 to $1,338.70 per 35 hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)Other benefits include :
