Enterprise for IT Leaders (EITL) is an executive-level advisory service within the broader Gartner Executive Technology Services Product Suite that delivers expert insights and guidance tailored to each client's context and most critical information and cyber security initiatives.
Gartner's Global Executive Partners team equip Enterprise IT executives with indispensable insights, advice and tools to achieve their mission-critical priorities today and build their successful organizations of tomorrow.
You will manage a portfolio of 25-30 clients, typically in Enterprise Architecture AND / OR Infrastructure Operations, reporting directly to CIOs, from global Fortune 1000 organizations and government agencies.
As their Executive Partner, you will be delivering value through regular discussions and briefings, virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars, by attending relevant Gartner events, and developing client peer networks / exchanges.
As someone who has previously been in their shoes, you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and challenges for today and tomorrow, including their own potential role development.
This role is a client-facing position that requires a high level of Executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value.
Responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities.
This is a predominantly home-based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks; you will be delivering value to your client portfolio in a predominately virtual manner.
15+ years' experience as executive technology leaders within a Fortune 1000 company :
primarily focus on Enterprise Architecture with strong exposure to Infrastructure & Operations, or
primarily focus in IT Infrastructure & Operations with strong exposure to Enterprise Architecture
Experience in executive level roles within consulting, sales or customer facing positions.
Minimum Bachelor's degree required
Enterprise Architecture (EA)
Building and leading an effective business outcome driven EA program
IT portfolio management and modernization
Federated enterprise architecture in larger organizations
Key technology / solutioning areas such as Cloud, AI, CX, agile, composable architectures
Architecting platforms (think Amazon, eBay, Uber, etc. as business enabling platforms)
Innovation Leadership / Management
Creating a culture of innovation
Facilitating innovation lifecycle from ideation to industrialization
Technology tracking, scenario planning, horizon scanning
Innovation metrics and maturity - measuring innovation effectiveness and business impact.
