DIGITAL SERVICES JOONDALUP CAMPUS FULL TIME, FIXED-TERM ROLE (12 MONTHS) Overview
Digital Services provides a responsive, integrated, and customer-orientated service that brings together the digital and physical environments for students and staff, supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. Our purpose is to deliver fit-for-purpose and innovative planning and delivery services that contribute to the success of ECU as a vibrant and progressive University.
The Digital Programs and Projects team works collaboratively with stakeholders across ECU to deliver digital projects and programs, covering the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning through to execution, implementation and handover.
To better support ECU's evolving technology needs and strategic priorities, a dedicated Digital Minor Works Program has been established.
In this newly created role, you will manage the delivery of ECU's digital minor works program - a portfolio of smaller-scale technology initiatives designed to meet evolving business needs. This includes driving efficient outcomes, maintaining governance processes, and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
This role will report to the Manager, Digital Programs and Projects and play a critical role in enhancing ECU's digital capability.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have :
A minimum of 7 years' experience in the information technology sector, including significant experience managing and leading teams. Proven experience in managing large and complex ICT projects and programs, applying sound project and change management practices. Demonstrated experience in vendor and stakeholder management, including contractors, consultants and cross-functional staff. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and to manage competing priorities. Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Prince2 and Agile. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex environments. Experience in preparing business cases and managing project budgets (particularly for the fixed-term Digital Minor Works role). The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate alignment to ECU's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
Please note the successful candidate is required to provide (or be able to obtain) a national police clearance within the past six months.

You will be based in Joondalup and may be required to travel to our other metropolitan campuses on occasion.
