As Risk Specialist, you will identify, manage, test, and mitigate risk across the Lendi group's Lending division, ensuring that we protect our customers, as well as our business and brand from risks.

- Drive the Lending division's maturity in key risk management by managing and implementing a key control testing framework that includes :
- Identifying key processes and key controls
- Establishing key control testing
- Addressing control gaps and recommending necessary improvements
- Proactive test controls
- Regular test effectiveness of controls surrounding key risks within procedures. This includes effectiveness of the implementation of controls, as well as challenging the effectiveness of the control design
- Understand, adhere, and comply with all company policies, risk appetite and legislative requirements including NCCP, and proactively manage high and medium priority RCSA risks
- Engage with Risk and Compliance team to ensure a consistent risk approach across all areas, and work closely with the Lending business units and external partners to ensure that procedures are documented, and risk has been addressed
- Ability to proactively identify, understand, communicate, and act on current and future risks
- Outstanding customer service centricity demonstrated by a desire to deliver a great customer experience
- Can work collaboratively with other BU's and team members to ensure risks are identified and actions are taken to delivery sustainable results
- Experience that will help you succeed in the role
- Previous experience in a risk role, preferably in a fast-paced finance / banking or Contact Centre environment.
- Background in managing and mitigating risk including implementation and testing of controls is highly desirable
